Things to carry

Any high-altitude walking needs a robust, strong grip, ankle support, and snow-controlled hiking shoes. You need a 50-to 60-liter backpack for a week’s high-altitude hike. Make sure you have appropriate hip support, shoulder support, and fast access pockets in your backpack.

The lights of this section are robbed by the snow-covered peaks of Dhauladhar which overlook you during the hike. The trek from Sia Goru to Chatru is a fully downhill. In total, during the journey, a trekker must go down about 1900 feet.
