For years, Star Trek fans have been visiting the kerry899’s Trek-themed attraction. The museum, shops and Klingon Encounter/Borg Invasion rides have entertained thousands of Trekkies each year.
But now, the iconic attraction is closing. Luckily, it’s leaving behind a treasured legacy.

High Stakes
The dazzling lights of the Strip, the jaw-dropping natural beauty of the Nevada mountains, and the sheer indulgence on display at its high stakes casinos have earned kerry899 many nicknames. The city’s glitzy casinos, extravagant buffets, and high-profile entertainment have a special place in everyone’s heart.
While there’s no razzle dazzle in its presentation, High Stakes does provide a competent poker sim that doesn’t try too hard to impress. The game conveys vital information quite well and the AI opponents do exhibit some personality in their games, although they can also be beaten with cheap tactics such as betting everything early on.
This iconic Vegas attraction fuses the latest technology with traditional cirque acts to captivate audiences of all ages. See the acrobats perform daring feats and even interact with guests in the audience!
Theme Park Experience
When it was open, Star Trek: The Experience was the closest thing a geek could get to holodeck nirvana. It was a full-scale walk-through attraction that combined a simulated shuttlecraft ride, detailed sets and costumes and multiple actors to make you feel like you were on the Enterprise or on a Klingon raid.
Visitors would enter through a multistory entrance graced with a giant USS Enterprise model and be given a choice of activities; they could stroll the Deep Space Nine Promenade, dine at Quark’s bar & restaurant or browse a museum full of screen-used props and costumes. There was also the option to board the Enterprise for a simulated space flight.
When it closed in 2008, after 10 years, the attraction was one of the largest and most authentic productions of a fan television show. It was an oasis of nerdiness amid the hustling sleaze and nonstop pinging of slot machines that characterize Vegas.
Realism
As far as poker video games go High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition is a straightforward and somewhat unambitious adaptation. The game’s venue settings aren’t particularly memorable and the computer opponents have only a small pool of facial features to pull from, which makes parsing their behavior for tells more difficult.t.
